The Assets Form is designed to allow you to inspect and record results for multiple Asset Types on a single form, rather than using a separate form for each type. For example, if an apartment building contains Smoke Detectors (SD), Duct Detectors (DD), Waterflow (WF), Heat Detectors (HD), Pull Stations (PS), and Battery (BATT) assets, all of these can be combined into a single form for the inspection.
When used together with the Asset Definitions feature, the Assets Form allows you to create and edit Asset Types and add substantially more assets than previous form versions.
📌 Note: The Asset Definitions feature is available with the FormLink Platinum package.
The Assets Form includes the following features:
- Legend — displays all available Asset Types on the form
- Inspection Progress section
- Search/Filter Bar
- Scrolling feature
- Special Filters button
- Add Asset button
- Reset Last Tested Date button
- Floating Control Window
- Edit/Remove Assets
- Zones
Legend
The Legend section displays all Asset Types available for use on the Assets Form. It is automatically updated as new assets are added or existing assets are removed from the form.
Inspection Progress
The Inspection Progress section allows you to quickly view the testing progress by Asset Type. For each Asset Type, it displays:
- Number of assets tested
- Number of assets not yet tested
- Total number of assets to be tested
The values are displayed in the format Tested – Not Tested – Total. For example, 0 – 1 – 1 means no assets have been tested, 1 has not been tested, and 1 total test is required. As inspection results are recorded, the counts update in real time.
