FormLink has two distinct login types, each designed for a different role within your organization. Understanding the difference will help ensure your team members have the right level of access for their responsibilities.
Administrator Login
The Administrator login is intended for office staff and account managers who need access to the backend of the FormLink system. Administrators log in through a web browser and have access to the following:
- Account and location management
- Reviewing and submitting inspection reports
- Managing users and permissions
- Configuring forms, reports, and account settings
- Viewing deficiencies and compliance reporting
📌 Note: Administrator logins do not have access to the field inspection side of the system. Inspections cannot be completed from an Administrator login.
Technician Login
The Technician login is intended for inspectors working in the field. Technicians log in through the FormLink mobile app and have access to the following:
- Downloading locations and inspection forms to their device
- Completing inspections in the field, including offline
- Recording deficiencies and adding attachments
- Uploading completed forms back to the company
📌 Note: Technician logins do not have access to the administrative side of the system. They are limited to completing and submitting inspections only.
Need Access to Both?
If a user needs to perform both administrative tasks and field inspections, two separate logins are required — one Administrator login and one Technician login. A single login cannot provide access to both sides of the system.
